Good write-up, btw.
And you know, it would help if they would actually include some free samples when they send me the in game spam mail too.
Since most samples seem to be about 10% of the real product, and most of the spam mails I am getting are touting their great per 1000 gold prices.....100g sample per spam mail should be about right.
Interesting read though, thanks for sharing.

If it's any consolation, we don't do WoW PLing or currency... Too many bannings, too many servers, and too little money for the work involved in PLing.
So that's not MY guys that are sending you guys annoying random tells, don't worry.
We don't do anything like set up trial 'spam accounts' that macro in game touting our website or stupid (bleep) like that. I myself am STILL a gamer and that sort of intrusive advertising has no place in-game IMO.
