Try taking a very large magnet and rubbing it ALL over your computer. But make sure the osmenthe is out of the CD first or it won't work.

I already gave the tip to write osmethne in blood on the cd and turn it upside down
maybe this has nothing to do with osmethne tho.. who knows..

Turn off the monitor for a minute or so when you first start AC. Or take the cd out, whichever you prefer.
