oh no...I'm haunted by it anyhow....I get PM's everyday from people and it never fails when I post something that someone will make a cd comment =P

Well, okay, I talked to the Information Technology Manager here at work. He suggested the following:
1. Uninstall Asheron's Call.
2. Make sure you have a system disk handy.
3. Using FDISK, delete all disk partitions.
4. Reboot off of your system disk.
5. FDISK your hard drive and add a new active primary DOS partition.
6. Format c:
7. Reinstall Windows.
8. Reinstall Asheron's Call.
9. Take the Asheron's Call CD out of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. (Important!)
10. Update DirectX and your video card drivers.
11. Log into the zone, reinput your account information.
12. Start Asheron's Call and wait several hours for the patch to complete.
This should fix your problem. Alternately, just try step 9 on its own.

it just shows that regardless of how big the problem is, all of us are willing to go out of our way to help out the little guy..
