I had the same problem and this is what I did to fix it: (note: don't do this unless you know what you are doing)
Turn your computer upside-down. Empty a can of WD-40 on it. Leave it overnight. In the morning put the computer in the origonal position. Problem solved. (scary I'm Tech support in RL too!)

wd40 if you have a p200 or slower, jolt cola for anything faster.
