Option D: Ask the decal devs (nicely!) to add the hook needed.

Otherwise Option C is really just fine, as I never use emotes on my tradebot anyway.

That's not even on my list of important features.

If C was not availible, I would only use the tradebot that could not close the trade window unless there was no other option.

Make it a toggle option, with the default being the most popular vote result?


It'd be simple to add a scalable timer for the combat-close, and those that don't want the window to close could use a 60+ minute timer. Most (if not all) of the emoting that went on was part of the 3 minute public spam ads, or even part of the welcome message. Only some of the emotes can't be broken (ie, no window closing) by entering/exiting combat.

At least one of the authors (Tradebot I think, probably even ACTrade) appeared to close the window using a mouse movement script. I remember many situations when it'd remain open if I was typing in the chat window, and whenever there'd be a trade, it'd leave a ghost outline on the trade button of the mouse cursor (same happening when it'd autoclose the trade window).

30 days left for a poll about a bot? if you wanna make a trade bot ..do it and quit teasing us. this is the second month you have strung us along and from the looks of the poll it will be another month.

would prefer option D, ask Devs to add hook for it but C if nothing else. My bot never did emotes so it dont matter, but the option of going into combat and back into peace wories me cause if ya lag or something odd happensa as they usually do in marketplace, you are gonna have bots in combat mode not being able to trade with.....

try adding a mouse action to close window, same as you would use the mouse to click trade, after completing a trade, just modify it to close window instead on a user or a predetermined time.

Dude, I'm working on it as fast as I can. I have a full time job and family to attend to (not counting other commitments), and they come first. I wouldn't have gotten to this part if I wasn't already testing the "DeclineTrade" API that I thought closed the window. All it does is unaccept the trade. I'm getting closer, but you'll just have to be patient.


And no, I refuse to use the mouse to close the trade window. It's flakey and doesn't work alt-tabbed without a whole mess of code I'm not going to bother with.
