Neat.

Now you need to keep all of these plugins on your own server and your site would be more usefull to the advanced user!

How much is hosting, and who do you go with? Cause I have seen hosting providers with insane bandwidth and space for like almost nothing. Under 25 bucks a month.

Many developers do not want their content mirrored. ACDualClient is one of those. I do not want it mirrored for a couple of different reasons... mainly because instructing users to get it only from my site ensures that it is the latest and more updated (and virus free) versions. Also.. if it is mirrored somewhere else, it's a lot harder to keep statistics on. I track those sorts of things so I can get a general idea of support needed and usage.

Advanced users shouldn't have any issues following a link to why the download is located.

Was'nt trying to fire-up the ol' AC Utilities firepit, was just stating it would be nice since he's covering it, to why not go ahead with a "secure" reserve of the plugins available for download.

I being an "Advanced" user.... actually HATE .... I mean HATE>>...... going to 10 different sites for 10-12 different plugins. Having to click "Downloads" or whatever and then also waiting again because thier hosting providers "SUCK" and boom wait on a 9mbps connection for a download thats 1.2MB and getting a speed of 4.7kbps download speed.

A reserve could have benefits.

Think before you feed the fire. It could burn you back.

Hosting a file without the owners permission would be a legal minefield. I'd not give permission for ELTank, Drakier wont give it for ACDC and I doubt many (if any) others would allow it either.

Hosting a file without the owners permission = very bad thing to do

I will never host a plugin/tool unless the site goes down and or the Dev states to do so cause the plugin is no longer being developed, even then I would be hesitant to do so.

Hey Sucamarto,

Not sure if you list this utility, but if so it's just gotten a major update.
