Anyone else think that it would be awesome if ElTank could be set up to drink the 6 "beers" for +50 to your base stats? Not the end of the world if it didn't, but it would be nice if it did and kept track of the 30 minute timer.

I didn't think it was worth the time to code it as they only last 30 mins so you'd have to carry lots of them.

True, but for characters like my sword toon, I carry 8 each of Strenght, Quickness and Coordination. That lasts 4 hours, and is really helpful to have. On my Mage, I just carry Focus, Self, and Coord (Melee Mage).


Not a big deal, if it was easy, then maybe it would be worth it. +50 per stat is really nice ... better than a level 7 buff ... which they layer with.

God forbid you'd have to actually keep track of that sort of thing yourself...

Read the first post. I said it wasn't the end of the world, just that it would be nice. This is the "utilities" forum after all.


Not to mention that it is very useful for the "Tinker Bot" and "Buff Bot" aspect of ElTank. Another +50 to your Tinker skills (in most cases) is really useful.

I did read the first post. To me it's a thin line between convenience and laziness...


All plugins are a matter of convenience or laziness and not necessary, though I think some plugins are geared more toward laziness.

Lol, that struck me as funny. It reminded me of an encounter I had at work with a County Commissioner. I work on a survey crew and I was marking the road Right-of-way in front of his place because his kids got in trouble with the sheriff. He came out all puffed up and self important and said (no joke) "ou know who I am? I'm the chairman of the county board." "Who sent you to mark the right-of-way?"


So, I just got the image of you puffing yourself up, and saying "I run, blah, blah, blah for the 3rd largest guild..."


Now, back to the topic at hand; Why wouldn't you ask this on Elgar's forums? It might've even been asked already. I know you got an answer from Elgar though, just curious.


*Edit* Ok, I see your edit about using the beers for a tinkerbot. Interesting, that's not a bad idea. Just curious if the tinkerbot could be set up to drink the appropriate beers (or all) when it's asked to do some tinks?

i would love an addition like this,but they do not stack with buffs its a lvl 7 or the 50.personally i like the extra 10 from beers ;P
