i know for some reason a few runtimes dont work did a clean install went through regestry and deleted everyting to do with decal

used the decal reg cleaner not running a firewall atm

new dual client runs decal fine if and ony if i disable charstats

when i can get the game to run with plugins 0 plugins work

but enabling charstats i crash

i have no dashes in my name just spaces

ill go back to decal forum and read up some more hopefully i find one i missed there is a few similar but none have reply's after the poster updated no change

when I was browsing the decal fourms, I found a link to new decalfilters or something located http://imp.arkayas.com/decalfilters.zip


I must have saved a different version of them, because when I DL that one up above again, the size is higher than the one that was posted below, and I crashed everytime.

this is the DL that I have replaced the "decalfilers.dll" in my decal folder with.


I'm not sure if it will fix the problem, but it did for me.


just incase- extract the decalfilters.dll to your decal folder, make a backup of the current dll just incase

that is for test purposes, and is not a "fix" dll.


technically, it seems to cause more problems than it fixes.

But anyways, for me it fixed it for me for some reason


Everytime I loged in AC, id crash everytime with no plugins started..


then I DLed the DLL from arkayas 2 times, which both seem to be diff. versions and the one on arkayas site now crashes me everytime before I even got to the character selection screen. But this one

Moderated isnt the same file size, and works perfectly for me

that is a 3rd party DLL, and should not be used.


that is a mirrored copy and is unathorized.


using that DLL is completely at your own risk, and none of the decal devs are responsible for anything that may happen as a result of using a 3rd party DLL. The only DLL's that are supported are those downloaded directly from a Decal site, or a site authorized by a decal developer.

well im almost ready to try anything but not that link untill its my last hope.

hopefully someone will be able to help before i go to that extreme

too bad this one is overwritted by the current decalfilters tho on arkayas.


but Drak is right, use it at your own risk, im just pointing out what helped me

I would recommend extreme caution with this alternate DLL. SInce it comes from an unknown source.
