I'm using Decal 5d. It worked fine yesterday, but today I can't even get past the login screen. WTF is up with Decal Developers, not only do we have to wait forever for the code, what they finally DO release something it keeps us out of AC completely.

Decal is in Alpha, and if you can't figure it out maybe you shouldn't be using it.

Disable Eltank and Sort It! in the plugin list, then try again.

Gouru: I think I know your problem.


Please pull up the Dos prompt. For xp users. (Start) then (run) type in "command"


Once in that dos prompt "window". Type in "CD c:\progra~1\turbine\ashero~1" (Please note: make sure this is the proper location for your Asheron's Call game)


Then type "del *.*", then when it asks you "Are you sure?" type "y"


This should fix all your problems.

For those to oblivious to notice Gouru might be one of them decal developers...

He also has a sense of humor...

He might have started the whine thread in advance to make sure that everyone who was screaming decal didn't work had a place to go rather than make 200 different whining posts.


And you best hope he can never figure out how to lock people outta decal based on VN names...


wubbie - and we wonder why the devs went to their own board where they can ban tools...
