went to add mmd as an item at 1 point... but wasn't case sensitive the first time i typed it. Now I have it typed correctly...but it will not let me remove the old one off the point list.

I've already answered that 3 times in this thread, and I'll answer it for a fourth and final time.


You cannot remove point items right now. This is fixed in the next release that I hope to release today.

You can remove point vaules, or atleast I did..


I looked up the mule trader log and edited in word pad, you just need to be careful you dont take anything else out, but I was able to find a item I added as a point and deleted that part.


I dont recomend it if you dont know what your doing, but its the way I got around it not working. And remember not to delete anything outside the < > if you dont need to.


I'm not sure if I should have posted this or not, but I figured a simple temp solution

Is there any way to increase the cut-off timer? 5 mins can be a bit short for bots with large amounts of items to look at.

signed up on the board.... suggesting to remove the ability to spam under 5 minute timer


get 10 bots, most if not all will insist on using the 1 minute timer.... the spam will be HUGE and I dont use 3rd party filters at all (and not going to, I dont like em)


there is NO reason to use a one minute timer, 5 is way more than enough to keep a bot ingame

Except the spamming doesn't use the keyboard, and doesn't keep you in game. I have other methods of taking care of that.

what is the reasoning for one minute spam for? I have yet see someone "hear" the spam and run directly to that bot.... before ToD, they would go in the room, type in !search "item" and then go to the bots that responded, or they would start at the closest and just work thier way around checking all of them


if the spam dont keep a bot in, then get rid of all the adverts hehe


the only one I ever found useful was when a bot would advert the last time they were restocked, those I tended to check sooner if they were updated recently..... but even then, most often when I went in there, I would either do a broad search in open chat or I would check all bots (and judging by the way people acted in bot room, so did most others)

the spam runs every X minutes, and I don't do any validation on how often they configure it. it's not like i make people spam every minute. my bot spams every 3 or 4.
