OK, I have 5a loaded now, thanks Hamlit, but it is still crashing on exit.


I updated the export above to show 5a.


Also I'm getting lots of funny colored pixels on my desktop since I installed the new Decal/Tank...

Did you completely remove old versions of Decal and Tank before installing new ones?


Make sure to do the following for a clean install:


1) Un-install Decal/EL Tank/other plugins from Add/Remove Programs.

2) Manually delete the directories for the old versions if they are still present after un-installing.

3) Manually clean all "decal" and "tank" entries from the registry (only recommended if you know what you are doing).

4) Install new Decal (make sure it is Alpha 5B). http://forums.acdev.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3854

5) Install new EL Tank/other plugins.

Whatever Elgarl did, you got me past my issue of not crashing when logging in ... and I can buff with Tank and what not.


LOL, but ... like the person above, I'm having issue with it crashing on me when I log out. Yeah, it erases my configurations too.


But, let me add ... I am sooooo pleased that I can atleast log in with El Tank!


If you come up with a possible fix or whatever, lemme know.

dont forget to remove and turn off some filters, thats how I fixed my issue.. I am not gonna say which ones because I dont remember

Hmm ... I just unchecked Spell Filter and I was able to log in/out twice with no crashes ... could that be what is/was causing those crashes?
