Looks like all of D'sanai's plugins are dead now unless he comes back or someone else writes replacements.

Yeah, one major reason I released VCS is to replace ChatCrayon (though I originally wrote the plugin years ago).

LootTracker will be upgraded after I finish RoboChef. I helped develop LT's communication protocol and I was given LT's code and official permission to maintain it going forward shortly before ToD mangled Decal. I too love this plugin, so it will live on.
Part of the reason so many plugins are dead is becaus Decal is STILL changing and breaking existing plugins even many months after ToD. Until Decal is stable, many plugin writers are loathe to risk having to try to hit a moving target. As for me, I'm waiting on Alpha 5 and the new Adapter framework before I finish RoboChef.
Bottom line: "It's not dead yet, Jim". Don't look for it before January though.

I'm getting tired of the Decal isn't stable line, honestly. Quit with it already.
Decal is plenty stable. Protocol changes are done with. The only thing that you might need to do is recompile it when a new version comes out, because we're only adding features at this point.

Define 'stable'. Nothing is ever stable. Part of writing software is that if you do not update it to meet changing conditions, it will become obsolete. That is true for any software.

Stable enough for people to write/fix plugins without expecting any earth shattering changes.

All the cleaning up is done, so interfaces at this point are only changing to add features. The API is stable and has been since Alpha 4, really.
