Using MakeIt! until RoboChef comes out. Wrote up my own recipes XML (basically editing Gouru's). Using clean install of all the latest.

When attempting to make Dye Pots I get an odd error - I'll set it to make 1 Colban Dye Pot for example. It will make 1 Crushed Colban Plant and stop...for about 20 seconds...then make another, and so on until I 'Abort'. Now, if I hit 'Make' in that 20 second period, it will finish 1 dye pot and make another crushed plant. And then continue making crushed plants every 20 seconds or so. Weird. Excerpt from XML:

<Category name="Dyes" display="-1">

<Recipe name="Colban Dye Pot" list="Colban Dye Pot" use="Vial of Colban Dye" on="Cooking Pot" skill="" diff="0"/>

<Recipe name="Vial of Colban Dye" list="Vial of Colban Dye" use="Neutral Balm" on="Crushed Colban Plant" skill="" diff="0"/>

<Recipe name="Crushed Colban Plant" list="Crushed Colban Plant" use="Mortar and Pestle" on="Colban Plant" skill="" diff="0"/>

</Category>

Also, when making Chorizite Potions, it will make 1 and stop for 18-20 seconds between each potion. Lessee, that's nearly 3 hours to make 500 potions. Excerpt:

<Recipe name="Chorizite Potion" list="Chorizite Potion" use="Ground Chorizite" on="Vitriol" skill="" diff="0"/>

What's odd is that it will make any quantity of Condensed Dispel Potions (which requires making four Chorizite Potions in the process).

Does every item used in recipes need to be listed in the NoMake section?

I had a similar problem with a recipe I edited, the problem is most likely because then name of the product creasted does not match the name in the recipe so it counts as a failure, that's why it sits there for 20 seconds, checke the name of the dye pot when selected and when you examine it, one will be different to the recipe and that is most likely the problem

FWIW, the proper recipe is:

<Recipe name="Chorizite" list="Distillate of Chorizite" use="Ground Chorizite" on="Vitriol" skill="" diff="0"/>

What's lame is that Gouru doesn't have a clue. Might notice that I said I wrote my own recipes, Distillate of Chorizite is not used in my list.

And if it's doing a 20 sec time out when I have 2 seconds set in the time out box, well, that's what you get with GoulashWare.

"Distillate of Chorozite" is not used in my list either. It's called 'Chorozite', not 'Chorozite Potion'. If you used the recipe file I released, or copied that one item from the file, it would work properly for you.

So when you make the Chorozite, it waits for something with that name to show up in your pack. When nothing with that name shows up for 20 seconds it tries again.

What's even lamer is how often Chazcon blames others for his own shortcomings, his inability to read and compare. The tag 'list' might have been a clue that that was not the actual name, which by some amazing coincidence, uses the tag 'name'.

Of course, the fact that this 20 second issue has been explained over and over in multiple threads, fixes given and successfully done by others, the actual 'working' recipe released in my recipe file so that people could look at it, and even Darkstar on this very thread explaining what was wrong with Chaz's recipe doesn't prevent Chaz from showing off just exactly how lame a message can be.

P.S...From the code...

if (m_FailTimeout<5) m_FailTimeout=20 ;

Failure times less than 5 do not account for normal lag and can cause real problems when making lots of stuff. Try setting it to 7.

Or get your recipes right so that they don't have to fail.

Isn't it nice that I put in checks like these to prevent people from making bad settings and just default to settings that will work? I sure wish I could do the same to prevent people from making fools of themselves.

Damn...coulda SWORN this thread was about a Make It! problem. The author of the program doesn't belong on a thread about his program? Even to provide support? Which I've done?

And I'm curious as to why all of a sudden losing arguments makes you yawn?

I have to admit you don't bore me though. I just continue to be blown over by the types of statements you have audacity to make. I do hope you are over 30, otherwise I'm gonna lose a LOT of faith in the younger generation.
