Server Populations: With Decal and without it

Can someone who has that little untility do me a favor and go in and compare the server population right now (without Decal being operational) then say Monday night (hopefully Decal will be up by then) at the same time and report the numbers?
I'd really be interested in the results. I'd bet that the population without Decal working drops by 25-50%.

Does that little utility use Decal to read the pops?
Oh, and I'm sure it does drop significantly. For one, my second account wouldn't normally be logged on as a trade bot.

well, you'd see an immediate difference of 50-100 in bots alone

i have to agree with you on that heh.
Allthough i have noticed some of the people i know who won't normaly play without decal have started pkling.So it's possible there is less of population drop than we think.

Yeah, I know it drops, but I'm one for knowing the "hard and fast" numbers.

Population Filter requires Decal. Or is there some other utility that gets the server population without Decal?

2004 Turbine Nation: AC1 Live Team acknowledged how their is a noticeable increase of player activity once decal is up after a patch, and said how they wanted to try to make ways so it wouldn't break on patch days..
But you also need to +/- people that have more than one account that perhaps use an account for a trade bot/buff bot..
There might be more of a noticeable difference of people actually out and hunting when decal is up or not than there is to figure out the population for those who have 2+ accounts or are only on as trade/buff bots and not actually playing 
+ some people download decal for simple programs, so if decal was able to keep track to say what % of people use decal, you have to see what they are using it for, because if its something just like xp counter or quest timer, then they really are not using more programs that affect game play

Yes.. we know that server populations drop when there is no decal. Hell.. I'm known for not playing 7 hours a night when there's no decal.
