that is when you open Decal from y0ur user tray with a left click or two.


down the right size of the opened window is a button titled EXPORT, click that


you can then click copy to clipboard and do a paste right here to give all the data about Decal/plugins/ect.


that way the experts can look and say oh tank 6.b is out of date update to 6c ect.

I have removed all Decal components. Cleaned out the registry and folders of all Decal/Tank references.


Re-installed all of the above including the support requirements (msxml3/4 .NET, vb6 etc)


Upon re-installation of Tank the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Decal\Plugins\{39E9E0F5-85D7-4C38-87D6-3BBCB853357E}

refers to ELTank v2.6.0.20-Beta-6b.


Frustrating because I had been using Tank (6c I thought though it has shown up as 6b even when I upgraded to 6c prior to the latest patch) without issues prior to the patch with my only change the updating of the memlocs.


I'm sure I am missing something but for the life of me I can't figure it out yet. My first true trouble with Tank ever.


Maybe it's time to start with a fresh OS installation since it has been awhile.


Edit: Ok I finally got a char. into the game long enough to get the Tank About tab which does show 2.6.0.20-Beta-6c is installed. After clicking on a tab before freezing to get there I can now move around in game but the red text of errrors is making one hell of an error log. lol 450K so far.

About all I can suggest is that you reinstall the Windows Scripting Host 5.6

Well that seems to have worked Elgarl.


No idea what has changed. I haven't fully tested everything but I did login successfully as well as do partial buffs. I then moved the copy of the original tank directory back to regain at least a part of my customizing.
