There is so much wrong with that post wheredo I begin?
first of all.. what is "it"? What browser are you using? What are you trying to download? Where are you downloading it from? Are you trying to "run" it or did you select the "Save" option? ... you get the idea.

you really need to provide a lot more information... you didn't answer hardly any of the questions I asked you.
please be descriptive if you expect to get any assistance at all. anything else, and I'm going to have to treat this as a troll post.

suspect LT would of course be Lifetank you know the bandaid for dummies who can't tell what they are downloading with problems even after 3 or 4 hey tell us what the fudge you are talking about requests

lifetank microwsuck internet exploer and right off there lifetank page. there are no fire walls on and not anti vs running. i have tryed savin it and running it does the same thing

is there any way you could right-click the link and say "Save Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" (dending on the browser) and past that link here? Even the address in the Address Bar would be better than just saying "off their page" considering I have no clue what you consider "their page" to be.
you ovbiously aren't getting my hints so I'm going to come out and say it.
You need to provide MORE DETAILS. Be as completely specific as you can. It's a LOT better to have too much information than not enough in almost all cases. Give me link locations, give me the page you were on (actual address), even provide me with the text of the link you clicked on, and where in the page it was.
What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Do you have any download managers like GetRight? Have you attempted to use a different browser like FireFox to see if it resolves the problem?
As I said.. if you expect to get help, you have to provide information to the people attempting to help you. If I can't even attempt to reproduce the problem, then I certainly don't stand much of a chance of telling you what's wrong and helping you fix it. All I can do is ask questions and have you try things out, which is really annoying to do unless as a last resort. I don't want to be doing that at the START of troubleshooting.
