Splitting stacks is not yet implemented. I will be releasing soon a version that is consistent with colon usage (work in the Check command as well), and MuleShopper that works with the new syntax.

It has taken folks years to learn to use the comma. And many still have problems with it and the do not pluralize problem. I hate to see the comma replaced with a colon...


Many bot owners will not upgrade until stack splitting is implemented. And many will never upgrade (ie: remember lots of folks used TradeBot when ACTrade was much superior), so we will have 2 varieties of bots out there for quite a while. Some will use the colon, while others continue using the comma.


I would prefer you handle the ",000" as an exception and continue using the comma separator. Turbine is just as likely to have a new item containing a colon as one containing a comma. ie: not likely.

One of the issues of taking over other peoples code is discovering the design gotchas. It turns out that the value parsing is not done in just one place in the program, and yes, I missed the other. Search on ',' to find all instances where a comma is used in source code returns a HUGE list. So I searched on the code that added items to the tradebar, found it, and fixed it.


I did try to mitigate the change by adding text to the 'failed' message that occurs when you find an item to tell people of the new syntax. I also added text in another area to notify shoppers of the change.


With the bug reports I now know that code must also exist in the 'check' command code area, and that the help lines make reference to it. Those will be fixed in the next release, real soon now.


That's one of the reasons why this code is still Beta. Expect bugs. Also expect me to fix them.

the problem is the syntax of the HELP command returns :: it still SHOWS the use of the comma


so someone trys an add gets not found and so they then do


/rt help


and the help returns syntax example using a comma in the add command


additionally as some have upgreaded and some not it's a mess now i've got folks doing a check with a :

imho, the whole comma value thing is a hack to begin with and there are MUCH better ways to handle this, which you will be seeing in a future release...


And as stated, the help will be fixed next release. As for people not upgrading and causing confusing....Yell at em.

I upgraded and since then i have sold almost 0 things, compared to the 500/1k plats per night i used to make.


Anyhow i will stick with the upgrade: i added to my trade bot msgs the link to Asheronstoybox to start making some public advertisement.


I hope i won't get screwed: if you will change your mind and revert back to old comma system i will have lost business for nothing
