fyi, the surrogate issue is a configuration, not code, problem. although, the sheer number of changes between the last alpha and this one will probably require everything to be recompiled.

I missed that distinction, but Decal Alpha 7 sure didn't as it immediately flagged those three plugins with red X's in the Decal desktop settings window.
Sort of academic though, and your above post looks to be a bit understated. Every plugin I normally use was busted, as in not showing up in the in-game Decal bar, even though they showed as a "normal" check in the Decal desktop settings window.
Pretty much to be expected though, and I'm sure not surprised by it, as there's been more than a few strong hints the last couple of months that Alpha 7 was going to be a major step up in the coding process.
Well, at least two plugins are working now, as the new compatibility list on the AC Development Forum showed. It shows that an updated BuffMe has already been released and the current version of Castaway works fine with Aplha 7. As of right now those are the only two plugins I know of that work.
There's going to be a lot of updates hitting Sucamarto's in the next couple of days I bet...
