shortcutMaker is a plugin designed to easily add customizable shortcuts to the game, IE: typing /mp would map out to the command /marketplace, and take you to the marketplace. Read more about it and download it from the following url: http://www.haxit.org/decal.php?plug=shortcutmaker

Also, for those that already have Sort It! this is an underused feature of that plugin.

Buff Me also has the same functionality.

But it's still nice to have a small plugin just to do that, for those who don't like to add more functionality than they plan on using

Gouru, I have tried to use that feature in the past with Sort It! and couldn't get it to work. Or perhaps it was because the commands had to be set up on each character (no global commands). I have 6 accounts. Ugh.

I use Agent Z for this now.

Yeah, I'm this >< close to adding either 'global' shortcuts, or an easy way to import shortcuts from another toon.

What would be the cat's meow, would be the ability to toggle whether you want a command to be global or proprietary.

For example, on all my toons I use Ctrl-S for store, Ctrl-N for strip/naked, Ctrl-P for pack - oh how I wish those could be flagged as global and set up once.

But also on say, Chazcon I have Alt-P to equip my Piercing sword, and Ctrl-L to equip a lockpick profile.

Of course, the odds of NEEDING to use the same exact combination on other toons would me small...i guess I've just talked myself out of that idea, heh.

Another feature I've thought of often for Sort It! is the ability to set certain core items to a pack, that don't change when you add additional items later.

For example, I set Pack 7 to store Gold and Pyreal peas. All is well, I hunt, loot those peas, hit Store and off they go to Pack 7. I go to town later and sell those peas. Pack is empty. Now I go hunt again and pick up a Red Monster Seed, put in Pack 7, and hit Set. I've just changed the configuration to ONLY the monster seed, and when I loot those peas again, I have to reset the config.

I'm forever redoing my configs when I would simply like to ADD an item to the existing list, that could be cleared using the existing Clear button.

But even better would be the ability to have two lists of items per pack, one the 'Core' list, and one the 'Add' list. I could set the peas as Core items, and other things I find as Add items. I could clear just the Add list, seperately from the Core list.

And if my Core items could be made global...pop the champagne! Vive le Sort It!

Core items could not be made global, because all your toons don't have the same pack. Storing/Packing is by pack, not by pack position.

However, making Set always add items not there would not be difficult, then the only way to clear an item once set would be to use the clear button.

That's probably a good idea. I'll add it to my list.

(Nothing quite as satisfying as hijaacking a product annoucement thread, huh?)
