Ok, then that's a bug in CharacterStats. I'll pass it along to the Decal devs

Also, I didn't put this in the Notes section on the site, but you resize the map HUDs by dragging the edges or corners (the same way you would resize any other window).

Digero, I found a couple of problems with 1.1.0.1 Alpha last night.
1. The coordinates for the arrow aren't updating. It's showing me as always at 0 0 and never changes. Plus, it always shows me as being 75.36 from somewhere, lord knows where that "somewhere" is as that distance number never changes when I move around.
2. I try to use the middle mouse button to scroll the map and nothing happens. The zoom function works fine, it's just the scrolling that isn't working. For info my mouse is a Logitech mx500 with the middle button mapped to double click.
Other than that, everything else seems to be working fine.

First off, let me say this is the single BEST plugin I've ever seen created. The maps are UNREAL.... everything is AWESOME. I do have to report a bug, however...every time I log out I get an error and none of the changes in settings I made to the plugin (arrow on, position of arrow, color of arrow, etc. etc.) are saved. Upon re-entering the game the plugin is back at default settings.
Error is :
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at GoArrow.PluginCore.SaveSettings() in PluginCore.Settings.cs:line 502

Thorgred posted: for me goarrow crashes AC sometimes when i enter a portal (my villa portal did once)
havent crashed since i ran it without it i even ran aerlinth recall quest
Does it happen predictably at all? Are there certain portals where it always happens? Can you get the error to happen when GoArrow is the only plugin enabled? Is there something you do or have open before you go in the portal? Which of the HUDs (Arrow, Dereth Map, and/or Dungeon Map) do you have open when it crashes?
What is the error message you get when AC crashes? Also check the GoArrow folder (C:\Program Files\Decal Plugins\GoArrow) for a file called errors.txt, and paste the last few errors from that (if the file exists).
As far as I've experienced, the only way for GoArrow to completely crash AC is if you don't have enough video memory for the HUDs, but your 256 MB card should have plenty.

#1: Check the GoArrow folder for errors.txt and paste the last few errors. Chances are there's an error before the update timer is started, and that is causing there to be no updates.
#2: You'll have to change the middle button to regular middle click for now. I'll probably add the option to change the buttons used to control the HUD in the future. The reason I used the middle mouse was because mouse clicks go "through" the HUD and to whatever is behind it in AC. So you could end up doing unintended things in AC if the left button controlled the HUD.

Happens on every log out of character.
Yup, I see where the issue is. I'll add a fix for it in the next version. For now, you should be able to get rid of it by removing every recent coordinate entry that doesn't have an icon on the left (lower list on the Atlas > Recent tab). If that doesn't fix it, open settings.xml in the GoArrow folder, and delete everything between the lines "<recentCoords>" and "</recentCoords>"

Thorgred, I just had AC crash a few times in a similar way to what you described. I'm really not sure what's causing it, but try unchecking "Automatically update recall coordinates" on the Settings > Route Finding tab, to see if that stops the crashes.

Problem #1 seems to have fixed itself after I uninstalled and reinstalled this evening.
Problem #2 is more problematical as I use the double mouse click function on the middle mouse button for everything else I do on the computer. Come to think of it, I also use it extensively in AC for opening doors, chests etc. So I guess I'll have to wait until you add an option to change it. Mayby a choice to change the middle button scroll from zoom to scroll would work.
