could enter the Treasure item of moarsmuch manually or via add selected and next corpse to contain muck did not trigger FindIt! alert.


now still having this problem with/after the alpha 7 upgrade of decal and FindIt!


any indication as to WHY findit doesn't like to alert on moarsmuck? FYI i'm over the legal drinking age so shouldn't be the cause.

It would never find it for me either, I tried clicking on the muck and then clicking "add selected", and I tried typing the name, even tried variations on the name, like "gob of moarsmuck", none of them ever got a response. Gouru, what's the name/spelling in your treasure list that works?

It has never found it for me either, either before Decal 7 or after upgrading. I've tried adding it by "Add Selected", by manually entering the name for an exact match under "Treasure" and under "Other". I've also just done a "has" entry with "Muck" in it, as Other, or Treasure, and while that will pick up Mucky Moarsman, it won't pick up Moarsmuck.


As far as I was concerned, it wasn't a huge deal, not like I can't see it when I open a corpse, lol. But just to let others know they aren't the only one with the issue

It isn't like they aren't obvious when you open the corpse, they aren't hard to miss at all. Certainly not something I'd expect Gouru to build an update for, that's for sure. lol

guess that came out wrong I was attempting to say I wasn't exactly Joyous about others also having the same problem, ie confirming it was a problem and not happy that it is a bug. Merely happy i wasn't crazy and it wasn't reacting to it.

Actually when I hunt for moarsmuck, I kill great piles of moarsmen. I zip thru the corpses very quickly with Find It, pick up very little other than muck. The fact that Find It doesn't recognize muck is a CONSIDERABLE nuisance to me then, and I would very much like to correct that situation. However I don't EXPECT Gouru to do anything, he has no obligation to me or anyone due to his plugins, they are gifts to the community. I do HOPE that he takes an interest in this issue. Gouru if there's anything I can do to gather more information about the situation I'm more than willing to help.


And before Ling Mei asks, yes it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for me to use capitals to express INCREASED EMPHASIS on various words.
