Anyone else getting client crashes around every 2-3 hrs tops?


Only plug in I have is Lifetank running?


Any help is appreciated.

How much RAM does your computer have? Is there anything else running in the background while AC is running? Are you running AC on high settings?


This question was answered on my boards already, but I still think it depends on how much RAM is in your PC and what your AC settings are.

It's not lifetank (it may seem that way if you're on for long periods of time on the same char) or (possibly) decal.


It's something to do with the "new" stuff they put in.


I've heard others having some problems running ET


Edit: Ran two clients (both using LTx) for a good 8 hours last nite, no problems, but I saw people just crashing left and right.

256 GeForce6800, 2G ram. But i was crashing every 2 - 3 hours the other nite, so it's almost random (for me)

Cool Ill turn all the settings way down and try it. I do have over 1 gig of ram though.

This didnt start happening till after the downtime for the new hardwhere. After patch even, I downloaded new decal and new LT, and ran it all night long no problem.


ill try the settings all on low and see what happens

I crash whenever I id people now. Decal or no decal.

Thanks for the backup everyone, I was starting to run out of ideas on what the problem could be.

I've also had random crashes, even before the new Decal was released... and I've had it happen while NOT running LifeTank (and actually during the Live Events Monday, and the Sunday night before I was not running tank whatsoever, and crashed more OFTEN it seemed).


So, the only thing I know to suggest is purhaps lower your graphics settings if you know you'll be online for awhile, and make sure your graphics drivers, and Windows Updates are 100% current.

Actually, ET is a bit worse, tho not sure to what extent it has any thing to do with the "new" equip. I do know that with the new Decal + new ET a friend of mine gets dumped to desk top every time she changes character.

I've noticed that with and without Decal, also with and without Tank loaded as well. I've had it work SOMETIMES without bombing out, but most of the time I crash and have to restart AC. *shrug*
