clear your cache, delete everything in %temp% directory, shutdown IE and try again.

works fine for me
do you have some sort of 'accelerated internet' or whatever
I had a problem before when I had one of these running a long time ago, it wouldnt let me DL anything for ac
had to disable it to dl

Ive tried everything above on 2 seperate computers.
Even uninstalled my download manager.
Still getting a file 0KB with windows download. Using a DL manager will just keep hammering at the file trying to download it.
I have no problems downloading macros from the forum, even np at downloading ACTool 5.3.0 just cant get that darn Alpha8.zip.
ARG!
EDIT: Same problem with Firefox.
