When we ran our bots we noticed that if they got extremely burdened (I think it's just when it shows them in red), that even if they were standing still, their stamina would go down. The only way for it to go up at that point is to lay down, which some of the buffbot plugins used to do. I used to use CastAway and if the xml config files are similar to what they used to be, you should be able to set a max number of tapers to accept fairly easily.

I haven't noticed any difference in my bot whether he's at 86% burden or 200% burden as far as revitalizing. shrug. If there is any difference it's miniscule.

Yup. My bot used to be at 100% stamina all the time, even with 4000+ tapers. As long as you don't run or walk, standing there casting spells doesn't effect it.

Sorry, but wrong.

Goto the shop and purchase bags of flour (cooking items) in stacks of 100.

Once your burden goes over 200 (red), enter combat mode and just stand there.

Your stamina will start to drain away without you doing anything.

Stamina most definately IS affected by burden. It's not a great deal, but when you factor in your normal regen rate it does become quite a lot over time.

Well, all I know is that my bot, standing in the NW room of the Marketplace is always over 200% burden with tapers, and when he is standing there doing nothing, he is at 100% stamina. When he is buffing someone, it seems to only vary when the stamina to mana spell is cast. Maybe it is so small a drain that it isn't noticable, but when the buffs are done, the bot is back at 100% stamina.

Certainly not enough to be a concern for a buff bot. More hassle trying to prevent people from overloading you than it's worth. The little bit of stam you may lose while buffing someone is a very very small percentage and not worth the all the concern.

I've got plenty of characters that are at very high burden levels. I never notice any stamina problems unless they try to move or heal in either peace or magic mode. HMM Something to check on the low level mules with low endurance. It is possible that the characters I normally have a high enough endurance bonus to overcome any burden related effects.

You most definitely lose stamina over time in combat mode though natural regen bonus and buffs might overcome the loss.

I just did a test with a level 51 mule with a "mediocre" Natural Regen rate and no buffs outside of Strength.

Every 4-6 seconds I lost 2 to 4 stamina points. 6 minutes and 7 seconds to lose 200 stamina

13:51:15 You say, "200 stamina - 249% burden no regen buffs"

13:57:22 You say, "empty"

A bot owuld tend to have a regen buff on, so that may be enough to counter it.

More than enough. In my 4+ years of running buff bots, I have never had a problem. Simply add Stamina and Mana regen and you will never see it happen. I'm sure that it may happen like others have said ... every 4-6 seconds, loose 2-4 points ... but with Stamina regen, you will regain more than that.

But then again, I don't bother trying to set up a buff bot who doesn't have at least 320 base in magic and usually has a 100 base Endurance.
