im looking for an updated ac explorer map, the one i currently have seems to be missing the vissidel island.

is there anything like that available?

im using the 2.22c version which can't generate maps itself, doubt that would help as i haven't been on that island yet.

I think the map included with Dereth Explorer would work. http://www.thelostcorpses.com/derethexplorer/

If you haven't already, give Dereth Explorer a try. It does everything AC Explorer does and more.

Dereth Explorer + DServ + dual monitors = Amazing!

that might be a possibility, ill look into it.

i use ac explorer mainly for finding coords of things and planning routes and it does that very well. i tried working with dereth explorer a couple of times and too many things are just annoying in my opinion. prolly because im too used to ac explorer and want them to work in dereth explorer like that also

Here's a map I generated, in two flavors. The first uses colors that are similar to the land textures in-game, and the second uses brighter colors (similar to those in Dereth Explorer, but not exactly the same).

I haven't really used ACExplorer, so I'm not sure if that's what you need...

I generated the map using mostly my cell.dat file, but there were some sections that I didn't have data for, so I filled in the holes using the cell.dat file available here: http://student.dpg.devry.edu/~d00727759/cell.html. I used kgoober's CellConverter to convert my client_cell_1.dat file to the old format, and David Simpson's mapac and graphac to create the images.

nice, i used the one from dereth explorer but as you mentioned that map is lighter in color and i don't really like that (im so used to how ac explorer does things). ac explorer needs them in bmp but i can handle that.

thank you digero.

I agree! I would have NOT paid the $20+ dollars for it, if I had known that the support would be dropped as is was. I can see it if AC wasn't hardly being played OR if AC Explorer was free. BUT to pay for it and have the author just decide to drop us like we aren't anything above dirt, that is just wrong.

NOW Look at the author of Dereth Explorer..... he is GIVING the program out F R E E ! ! ! AND is supporting it. Two extreams, both at the opposit(sp?) ends of the line.

Ahhh Well so it goes.... such is the way of things with AC..... slowly heading to oblivion(did I spell that right??).... LOL My spelling sux so bad...

Peace!

Do you still want a updated MAP?

I extracted one from January DAT file. I'll try with March, but it'll prolly be incomplete.

Just made one from my March DAT...there are lil green incomplete areas, and no differences i can tell from Jan & Mar.

Has the map changed at all since this was posted? I was going to use Digero's map
