A bit of an odd problem with dual client.

If I have two windows running in dual client, only one character is active at a time.

For example, if I turn on character A as a buff bot and then go to character B and request buffs, character A will not do anything (even reply to any tells) until I go back to that window.

However, if I open up a 3rd program, such as notepad, and that is my active window; both characters will go on with whatever they were doing.

It seems to only affect macros though. If I set character A to autorun, it will run no matter if the other window is active or not. I did not try to test it out with combat (to see if the character would continue to swing).

Anyone else expierence this? Or have an idea of what's going on?

Any further information you need?

Are you talking about UCM on a non-active window? Sure sounds like it.

You won't get any help here. Move along.

Not quite. Thanks for being so quick to judge. If I have one character running as a trade or buffbot, it won't work if I am playing a second character at the same time.

are you running in Windowed Mode?

are you pressing ALT-TAB or just clicking between windows?

(hint: run windowed mode, and don't press Alt-Tab)

Post an Export?

I run Dualclient fine with a buffbot and another character. Dualclient pretty much drops out of the picture once AC starts as I recall.

Using windowed mode. I have not tried in full screen mode though.

What program are you trying to run? Why didn't you list it in your first post?

I have only tried it with El Tank. Happens both with the buffbot as well as with the El Nav feature that will have your character follow another character; forgot what it was called in El Nav. Both only work when the window is active or if neither are active.

Correct, El Tank only works with an active window. Not a Dual Client problem.

See, wasn't that easy?
