Details:
Unable to locate application file 'decal.msi'.
The following components were successfully installed:

make sure you have the certificate installed, and try installing Decal again.
Make sure you use Internet Explorer when installing the certificate.. it also might need a reboot on your computer.

I'm having the same problem in trying to install on my tinkerbot's computer. When i installed it on my main computer, I had a flag come up telling me that there was a problem with the certificate, but it let me install it anyway.
I read what Drakier said above.. but I have to admit I know nothing about certificates - how do i install what i need? i looked all through my internet options and such, and i found where it lists the ones i Do have, but I'm afraid I can't find how to install what i need for decal :\
Can someone explain a little farther for me please?

thanks for the response... but are you sure that's the right link? i looked through it, but it's talking about factions and such, not decal issues

It's on the main www.decaldev.com site..
it's called the Insanity-Inc Root Certificate Installer or something like that.
it's on the left side of the page in the links of downloads.

ok, i found it, installed it... even downloaded decal again to make sure i have the right setup package... but i'm still getting the same error :\
I tried to install the certificate again in case it somehow didn't take, and it tells me it's already installed. I rebooted my machine to make sure all the settings were saved. I've done everything I can think of, and I still get the same error saying it can't find the application file 'decal.msi'
Any other ideas?
