decal worked fine before patch, down loaded net 2.0 the new decal 2.9.5.0 all boxes have red x's in them and decal fileservice says <no surrogate> all the rest have red x's and 2.9.5.0 next to boxes. i have downloaded and reinstalled a billion times, i have cleaned and reinstalled, i have tried up dating with utlities and the decal update button and still decal will not update!! please i beg you to help me , thanks magictroop

you need to read the stickies..


and post an export


whenever you're asking for help with Decal or any of the plugins for Decal, you need to post an export with a good description of the problem.

yes tried update on decal and decal utility

and still no luck

Well... your memlocs aren't updating..


Double check your firewall, antivirus, and download managers that they are not interferring.


Something is causing Decal not to be able to update.


can you hit this page: http://update.decaldev.com/updatelist.xml ?


If so, what does it display?


If it displays the 2806 version of the memlocs file, then you probably have a firewall blocking Decal itself since Decal should be able to see the same thing as your internet browser does... if it doesn't, then it's because something is stopping it from being able to.

Sounds like it's running through a proxy or is in the offline cache...download this file and unzip it to your decal directory.
