Why is it that people are so nice to help in game, but on the boards everyone is a jerk (myself included).

in the pre chat box main, 1-4 days yes that was true, but now you can put magic and combat messages into box one and all tells into main and trade into 2 and that way never really miss anything.

hehe.. so simple, yet I didn't even think about that. Can I move all the melee combat text out of the main box, and into a side box, so it doesn't show up at all in the main text box? I'd check if I were at home, but I'm not, so I can't.

Yup, you sure can, that's what I did.


My main chat window is local chat, allegiance, and tells only. Then have all combat, damage, and spell casting in a secondary window.

asking for an admin alarm to help you break the CoC is not allowed on these forums.


UCM is against the CoC regardless how long you do it, and you clearly told us how UCM you were and how you don't care about the rules.


I like that you don't try to make excuses, but I greatly dislike your indifference to the rules.


Why can't people just follow the rules? It's not like the rules were put there intentionally to disrupt your play. There are good reasons behind the rules, whether you want to follow them or not.

yeaa, or what about people who dont use those at all, let alone keep those windows open at -all- times

We've had this discussion once on a blue moon. Turbine has expressed their wishes against the use of Admin Alarms, and decided it was a topic to be left at that... Not to mention this will probably start another flame war, which none of us want, right? =)


To answer your question, there is no plugin that I personally know about that will alert to admins. Lifetank and Spies to name a few will still alert to other player /tells and was never removed.


Also, Drakier is correct. UCMing is against the CoC of Asheron's Call, it doesn't matter how YOU interpret it; be it 5 seconds or 5 hours... and discussing ways to break the CoC is generally frowned upon
