Anyone know if you you can put in partial nams or wildcards for searching for mobs, i.e. Gold or Fallen?

Good question...I just installed it & was wondering the same thing...

To the best of my knowledge, no, you must use exact matches. It does not have any pull down for "has" or "exact" like FindIt! Does.

i have a question : how do you add stuff to the "Auto stacker " i cant get it to stack pea's .... or maybe i don't know how to start it

That's another thing you cannot do. It stacks some stuff, MMDs, Pyreals, but it doesn't stack most things (peas, beers, gems of stillness, etc.) . It will also stack things when you try and split them in your pack if you don't disable auto stacking (like trade notes). I've also gotten very frustrated trying to put things IN my chests, like 8 out of 10 trade notes into my chest, the plug-in simply refuses to do that, and it will pick up the notes and re-stack them in your pack. I've taken to turning the auto stacking off unless I am selling, and then only use it to stack pyreals.


I'd REALLY like to see the developer change this to a list you add to just like the monsters/items list. A list that you can simply click what YOU want it to stack, and click "add selected". I'd also love to see a "Stack now" button, as well as an easy to access toggle on/off (rather than having to navigate to a tab, scroll down to the option, and turn it off) Anyone who used the original "Stacker" knows how great that is to have all in one tab.


If he added that, and changed the finding so you could do partial matches, I'd use this plug-in much more than I currently do.


I've enjoyed watching this plug-in evolve, and the developer does seem genuinely active in listening to user advice and wish lists, so I'm hoping he'll continue to do that with these features.

I think alinco considers an open chest to be part of your inventory, that's why you get the odd stacking behavior when putting notes away. I notice that if I'm trying to "top off" my arrowheads, I glance at my component HUD to see how many of each type I have, and alinco will show me the TOTAL count of the stacks in my packs and the stacks in the chest.

Does anyone know how to keep monsters I enter under the "Setup" "Find Monsters" tab?


I entered a few new ones in (Dark Inferno, Drudge Bloodletter for example) and have to re-enter these every time I log the character in. Alinco is not saving them for some reason. It will for one of my characters on the account but not for all of them.


And is there a way to save the setting across all characters so I don't have to enter info in for every character?

Not in game, no. However, if you go into the folder:


(default is C:\Program Files\Decal Plugins\Alinco\Frostfell (or whatever world you play on)


there are profile files for each of your characters. (.xml files). You can delete all but your main character, and then copy that, and paste it (it will say 'copy of ____.xml) and then rename it to each character on your account.


(i.e. I'd delete Lingie.xml and copy Ling_Mei.xml, Paste it, Copy of Ling_Mei.xml, and then rename it to Lingie.xml) This would put Ling's profile into Lingie, when she logs in next. Same HUDs, same monsters same items/trophies, etc.


As for your other issue, of it not saving the list, doing this for the character it does save them for, and copying it and renaming it *should* solve that. If it does not, then I'd suggest you post an export and get input from the Alinco Developer.
