Works pretty good but it follows real close and if you try to type anything into chat it stops following.

If theres an option to set how far behind you want to follow and if it will folow regardless if yer typing or not, i think that would be perfect.

Edit: It just crashed while I was typing this, some visual studio: just in time debugger popped up... never seen that before. Must not like being alt-tabbed.

Okay, here's the deal. There are two methods of following: the old eltank method, where you have to stop and turn everytime you need to correct your heading but you can chat at the same time, and this method. In order to make it so that it is as fast as possible this plugin uses the arrow keys to do navigation...which means that if you open up the chatbox it wouldn't be able to work correctly. Perhaps I should give two options...'turbo' mode, as it is now, and 'slow' mode. I can also make it work *better* than this in terms of niceness.

As to distance, I could pretty easily let you set that.

Ow. Dangit, it was working alt-tabbed a few hours ago. Time to look into that. That's why I called it 'alpha'

Certainly noticed the diff in speed right away, which i really liked. I would agree that an option to alter the distance followed would be an advantage.

I had my toon following out in the open and it worked a treat. Just finished with some quick runs in the EO and again I was very impressed with the dundeon following.

Sry couldn't get it to crash tho

edit: Just checked and that includes when alt-tab, no crash.

Your on a winner bud, thx and well done.

Okay, I made a bunch of changes.

-It now works (at least for me, anyway) perfectly while alt-tabbed.

-It is no longer possible to trip it up by pressing arrow keys a lot

-If the target remains approximately in front of you, the plugin will keep running even if you open the chatbox. However, it will stop running if you are no longer pointed at the target and the chatbox remains open.

Why don't you make it open-source, just out of curiosity?

The main result of that would be that it would be used in secret private UCM programs. I don't like private allegiance-only or pay-only macros...if someone's going to make a macro, they should release it to everyone. Therefore I'm not going to give them a ready-made nav system.

If someone wants to make a private macro, fine, as long as they write everything for themselves.
