How do you stop Alinco from spamming creature info like this:

Oak Target Drudge L2, H1000/1000

Oak Target Drudge L2, H1000/1000

I had that too, so I had to turn off Show info on Identify in the options to get rid of it.

So it shows the output for all or nothing? Is there a way to put that in one of the other chat windows? I like to know the health of the mobs but I dont need to id the doors to my house everytime i go through one.

I use AgentZ for the health HUD for the mobs.

Is Alinco actually sending ID packets on doors????

Now THAT is a waste of good server time.

We may need to block plugin ID requests on rediculous items like that.

Alinco does not request Id's for mobs or all items in the landscape

I can imagine that other plugins are requesting Id's for mobs

maybe mobtracker or life tank?

Alinco does only identify items based on how the search rules are set up,

for example if you couldn't care less about daggers and spears and remove them

from the searchs rules it does not even id them if the object type is known.

And if you have your identify window open in AC and open a door then you are

questing a Id manualy.

TargetInfo causes this when I run it along side Alinco. Looks like TargetInfo is ID'ing the critters and Alinco is displaying the info in the chat window (like it's supposed to if you have Alinco set to Show Info on Identify).

I like that show on identify feature, but it was doing it to me even if I didn't select anything. I was running through an area with oak golems in it, and my screen started to fill with information on the oak golems - even though I had not done anything to request the information (on a mage there is no auto target). I ended up having to turn it off

Losado, is there any way to make Alinco report on allegiance members in the area? That was one feature a now dead program had, and it was really handy at times. I really miss that particular feature!!

Ashake,

It's spamming the mob info because another plugin (not Alinco) is ID'ing them in the background (for me it was TargetInfo) and Alinco is set up to show the ID info in the chat window (Show Info on Identify option).

In simpler terms:

1. Alinco is set to "Show Info on Identify".

2. Some other plugin like TargetInfo ID's a critter in the background (like an Oak Golem for instance).

3. Alinco sees the ID take place and shows the info in the chat window.

You don't have to select the mob or anything because the other plugins are ID'ing them automatically. Normally you would never even know it was happening. Try running Alinco without any other plugins loaded and you will see what I mean. It's not Alinco that is causing the trouble. It's doing what you told it to do. However, an optional filter that somehow filters out mob info from displaying would be nice so that Alinco and other plugins don't interfere with each other. Not sure how that would be done though since I'm not a plugin writer. I also agree that an allegiance notify option in Alinco would be sweet. I also miss that old feature of Bandit Sight and Sixth Sense and would welcome it back

I did add a filter and a notify allegiance members option

along with some other tweaks I already forget about
