Question for LifeTank users using Decal 2.9.6.0 (New version just released) |
ill try this out tomorrow. I crash after a few relogs myself. also dunno if ya heard this one. sometimes when i load up it doesnt load all the info like mobs and stuff. One time i log in it has ninja's next time i load the ninja profiles are gone. wierd but I work around it  |

Try manually saving your profile and doing a proper logout. (i.e., log out via the AC interface and get back to the character selection screen. Otherwise, it might not save.)

I had a few miscellaneous crashes when I tried to install the "fix" over the running version using the "repair" option. I uninstalled via control panel, then did a fresh install of the latest version you posted, and did not have any more issues. I also noted doing that put Lifetank down near the bottom of the decal bar (I have mine running vertically down the left side of my screen) - and am wondering if having it load nearly last helps any potential "conflicts" it may have had with a couple of the other programs?

You should never repair. Always remove completely and reinstall. The load order shouldn't matter.

If I uninstall old LTXI will I lose my saved Macro/Buff/Loot profiles?

I have found that i only crash when i click on the "Enter" button. If I double click the character name to enter the world I never crash.

I don't see how clicking the enter button or double clicking your character name can make any difference. Can you try with only LifeTank enabled?

been there..done that... I don't know why it is, thats just what happens. When i click enter when char switching i crash about 30% of the time. Double clicking and i have not crashed at all.

I can't repro this. Try doing a clean uninstall (backup and remove your Lifetank folder) and reinstall of the new version.
