Is it possible in any way shape or form to make a program that will translate the spell words for wars into what they actually are? Aka blah blah casts blah arc 7 or blah bolt 7. Is that possible ?

I don't think it is really possible since the data sent before the war actually comes out is the same for bolts and arcs. At least that was my finding when I looked into it. You could possibly make it tell you right after the war comes out, but not sure how much help that would be.

Edit: Though I only got to see what decal put out for me, so maybe at a deeper level there is a difference prior to the war comming out. You'll have a hard time finding someone willing that knows about that to code this; if that is even the case.

So it detected before the war even comes out then? Or is it like every one I have ever seen that does the second arc or bolt animation comes out.

There used to be public plugin's that would do this as well. Though the names escape me right now.

IIRC spellwords never distinguished between arc and bolt. It would just say XXX is casting arc/bolt. Not XXX is casting bolt or XXX is casting arc.

Babel Fish is a public plugin to do it.

It's impossible to distinguish between a bolt and an arc just based on spell words. The first time you or a plugin can know is when the bolt/arc is visible leaving the caster. (Babel Fish doesn't attempt to use that information).

[Edit] Raven's Fury has the same spell words as another spell (I think blade streak or something, but I'm not sure). Babel Fish reports the other spell, not Raven's Fury. You can edit the XML file if you want to make it say Raven's Fury.
