while the update server (update.decaldev.com) is still not functional, you can point your Update URL to http://core.decaldev.com and use that. It should work for everyone.

"Decal component update failed!" Seeing that error as well.

http://update.decaldev.com should now be working again. Feel free to set your Update URL back to default settings.

That's with the http://core.decaldev.com, but it does attempt to download.. Could it be that the updatelist.xml file needs to point to core.decaldev.com? (Currently, it is all pointing to update.decaldev.com...)

Was about to point my updatelist.xml to core.decaldev.com, but noticed that the current info I had was 2873, where-as the information provided in the core.decaldev.com showed 2862... Is this an incremental versioning system, or am I mistaken?

Left the file names the same.. (2873) and pointed them to core.decaldev.com instead of my site, and it turns out that patches.xml is missing, causing an error.. Can you put patches.xml up on core.decaldev.com?

Didn't see the above message until just now.. But the same issues go with update.decaldev.com that went with core.decaldev.com.

you're right that patches.xml does appear to be missing.


I'll work on attempting to get it put up (but I have very little control over the server right now).
