Setup has detected the file "C:\Documents and Settings\***\Local Settings\Temp\VSD1E.tmp\DX9\dxwebsetup.exe" has changed since it was initially published.
I should have the latest DX9c installed, I ran the websetup that I downloaded before running the decal setup.
Also, ran all the other required installations before decal setup.
Retrying returns the same error, and cancel cancels the setup.

I'm getting the same problem today too. Only thing I can think of is what it says is the issue.
The program has been modified since it's been published, maybe a new version is coming out soon? Don't know.

okay, at least its not just me - gonna try to post on decal forums maybe someone will have an answer there - thanks though

not an expert doom, but last i saw a problem like that the decal developer was indicating that it appeared the inidividual was in facting trying to run an installation from the download site and not from their computer.

A lot of people having the same problem. Haven't seen anyone post a fix for it yet. I thought it was because I was installing to Vista but people with Winxp have the same issue.

I'll confirm this as being unintended. We were looking at updating dxwebsetup to a version that worked properly on Vista. Apparently our installer put forth more restrictions on that file than we anticipated.
We'll get it reverted or have a new installer put out for Vista pretty soon. In the meantime, download the msi directly from the link above.
