I thought it's very clear I'm not talking about attended term from CoC.

I was talking about classic MACROING which isn't legal in any form.

Some forms are hard to catch and that's why people using them can be relatively safe,

but that's illegal too.


I'm of course talking entirely about CoC breakers.


LifeTank was created for them.

They paid for LT development. And they paid a huge money.

CoC breakers created LT. Without them there will be no LT.

Spak implemented a lot of features because people paid him to do it.

I personally have to pay 1200$ to get permission to use LT for all my clan members.

And part of my money went to Decal developers as well.

So in some way I sponsored development of LT and Decal :-)

It's very sad that programming code I was paying for a lot of money is now removed for no reason.


When old LT users talk they use term ACM in my meaning.

When we talk there is no playing with words, twisting CoC or something. We all know we are doing something illegal but we let ourselfs alone to justify our actions. It may be surprise to you but a lot of us have no problem with integrity or moral.

Legality has no connection to moral, period.


BTW question for you. LT was created for this "dark purposes". Author got a lot of ILLEGAL money for developing this piece of art in breaking CoC.

When you took over development you certainly know it.

It's like using results of Mengele's research. You can do whatever good with it you can't undo evil past. Medicine community did decission and complete rejected Mengele's research. It can't be quoted or anyway referenced.

If you didn't reject LT you just can't argue with anything like good, moral, legal, CoC...


From my point of view there is no black and white.

There are different creatures living in "twilight zone" of illegality.

Some of them are "good guys". Sharing experience, tips on spots, setups,

hacking tools...

Some of them can be driven and consumed totaly by their selfishness.

Yes I know, they all are same CoC breakers for you.

But living in this "twilight zone" taught me to differ.


Surprisingly there are a lot of CoC breakers who don't UCM.

Some of them because they got perma (like me) and taught a lesson,

some because they don't want to interfere with others' playing style.

Even now they're using logoff on non-friend detect feature!

On white servers!


We all are strictly ACM. Using LT only when we are close to our computers.

When somebody find us and ask something we response.

When somebody ask to join fellow we response.

We are not silent fellows, we chat, we talk, we make fun while macroing.

We response to allegiance channels, server channels (using irc to log all conversation on all channels), because while ACMing we have a lot of free time:-)

We don't have problem with dead fellow members at ls...

With low XP...

With out of comps...

With manually looting all rares...

All of that thanks to ACM.


And now you remove reasons to ACM.

Can't chat (I will NEVER use those stupid Turbine scrolling menu for looking who exactly told what in "massive" debate), can't loot rares, can't detect anything not even PMs...


I will not repeat my all previous arguments shortly you just killed ACM.


I know it's illegal...

But law accepts there are different levels of illegality there is 5$ stealing and there are murders... And penalty is very different. Even cops accepts those 5$ stealing criminals and don't bust them... Same for weed smokers versus heroin users. In my country both are illegal but weed smoker wasn't busted for a quite some time.

We all see difference and we all know what is really WRONG here.

Icoo; just so I'm clear... none of those are problems when you are watching the screen. We went through this whole song and dance back when we removed admin alarms. We know people don't agree with it and we know it made breaking the CoC more risky.. believe me, we did every bit of that knowing exactly what the repercussions would be.


There is still a noise if someone sends you a tell. There is still a noise if you find a rare... and there is still a noise if you die (but if you're watching, you wouldn't need a sound for that, but that's another story).


The only thing IRC did was get rid of people using IRC to control their client from a remote location... remote being somewhere not infront of the client, hense, unattended.

Removing admin alarms even if I don't agree with it is your legitimate right.

I'm of course staying at opposite side but again I accept it's your right.


What I don't understand is removing already existing irc code.

It doesn't help in your fight against UCM.

On the contrary I think it's step in wrong direction even from your point view.

I'm running AC on computer without sound card.

That's why I'm so big fun of irc.

Because I forwarded all important messages to irc and they ring a bell on my other computer (the only one with soundcard).

This should not come as any surprise to you. After you and Crelic removed the admin alarm, a new plugin called Detection XI was created to patch it back into lifetank.


Its existance is not in doubt. XPS seems to think you or Crellic wrote and released privately for your use and your best buds. I know you all did not do this. I am pretty sure XPS does too but he is having fun hassling you.


This is sparked because you annoyed people temporarily by taking out the IRC commands.


In all likelyhood a private enhancement is available or will be soon to put the IRC commands back in too.

Icoo Celtic and para along with a few close friends still have Envoy alarm and IRC. Its just the public now that does not.
