if anyone uses warbot,

pm me please trying to get it to accept friendly guilds into my config file. its not happening for some reason.

Open your userconfig in ..\WarBotCfg folder

This shows you what to do:

change the monarch's name to Blood' or Brendan or The Sith Lord, w/e the name of the MONARCH is. NOT THE ALLEGIANCE NAME. the double slash, // makes the script not read anything following the //, it's used for notes. You have to copy the examples in the userconfig and remove the // BEFORE it for the macro to apply it. Make sure you leave the // after the command if you have notes after it, though. You can see this at the end of my post. Also make sure you have the ; after the value.

Example:

Some other useful addins to the userconfig file:

selRangeOut = 0.30; // Select creatures within this range when outdoors. 0.30 is about radar range.


selRangeDung = 0.10; // Select creatures within this range when in a dungeon .1 is about radar range. Close up in a halled dungeon might be .03 or .02


attMaxHighZDiff = 1; // If creature is above you, don't select if Z difference greater than this.


attMaxLowZDiff = 1; // If creature is below you, don't select if Z difference greater than this. 1 or lower will only attack mobs on the same floor as you. I haven't tested what higher numbers do compared to distance, but if you do like 9, it should attack all mobs on any level above. the same goes for above, attMaxHighZDiff.


dangerRadius = 0.02; // If a creature is within this distance of us, then set 'Danger' flag. This will cause maintenance functions to abort. 0.09 is the distance where creatures will recognize you and attack. You need to add this if you want to be able to loot in a dungeon where you don't kill everything on radar. I set the number to the same distance as I want to attack.


I can quad log 4 accounts on one PC all running warbot for a day or longer without needing a restart, it's great =P.

i agree i can use it no prob i did some adjustments on the radius like you did.

ill read over ur post and make the necessary adjustments.i thought i added in the friendly monarchs names but maybe the syntax was wrong.

if you do "bob" instead of Bob, it won't work.

testing now,

have one more question:


critters when i detect some and they are added, they seem as if they dont save and i have to add them again(ie tried to drain everything), i click the don't boxes and save but next time it loads i have to do the same.

any ideas?

That is one of the few issues I've had with warbot that I haven't tried to fixed yet. It works fine on one of my PCs, always has the mobs saved and the correct settings, but on my other two PCs it detects the mobs for the first time *again* even after saving it.. I'm guessing it has to deal with the creature file in the warbot folder. You may have to manually enter the mobs into that file if they aren't there already. If they are there, and you still detect them for the first time when you run warbot, it might be an issue dealing with the 'creconfig' file in your WarBotCfg file.

When I tried WarBot, it attacked really slow. Is this just a problem with how I set it up?

Warbot is just slower than most other programs. For example, I was able to macro 4 accounts on one PC all running warbot right after that hotfix which caused people to get booted, and I had no issues at all. It does most things at a pace that a human would do it, or slower if your PC isn't as fast, or is under more stress.


I notice a significant difference in speed of actions between two of my PCs running warbot, even after just restarting them.

The critter thing worked for me on one PC but not on the other, so i set it up on the working PC and copied the two "creature" files in the warbot215 folder and also the creconfig_xxx in the warbotcfg folder and pasted them on the other PCs and now it works.

i edited everything and still ids some critters at startup like it has no info

wierd,

no biggie, still logs in and out fine cause macro is still running with the hide timer. im gonna try a few more things later
