My considered opinion.


Paraduck and Crelic are keeping LTX (a controversial plug-in) close to their vest and inside the bounds of the COC to avoid LTX being banned by Turbine and the Decal DEVS so that a LARGE number of people will be able to continue its use and enjoy AC. They are worried that many people might not be as conerned.


It is no doubt a tightrope they have to walk.


They could probably easily rename .2 as a .5 new release, then sit back and watch the fallout from Turbine, ect. That would result in denying the various benefits of LTX to every one.


Instead of taking the easy way (and self defeating way) out, they are trying to find the balance which will satisfy the most people.


Just my opinion.

That, and I believe Fewz is still a known UCM'er and griefer on the MT server. The screening process, if this were to be done, would be done to atleast keep it out of the hands of people who would undo everything we've done. (Admin alarms/detection, IRC, stuff like that)


We're fairly sure we know how to fix the problem as well.. the problem is Para is away from home and doesn't have VB, and I've been out of town doing work. Next chance we get to talk, we'll see what we could turn up.

Crelic, I've tested and re-tested LTX in EO in areas where I get subjected to virtually continuous swarms. Yes, often times LTX is very slow, BUT, if Mana, Stamina and Health are set correctly (about 75%-80%) my High speed cable connection and LTX perform adequatly. No deaths after over 2 hours of continuos swarms in ACM mode. (ACM sure is hard on a Keyboarder like me!!!! Finger keeps twitching toward the Cast key!!!)


All the other problems itemized (not Looting ect) tend to go away after re-logging.


While I was at it, I've also observed many Macro's in operation in EO. Not that many people can handle Warbot, so they were no doubt using LTX.


Wait till you and Para get the time to do the job the way you feel it should be done. Can't see where anyone is being hurt.

Dont give it to fewz, i dont play on his server but just from reading his posts he seems like a prick.

We have no plans to hand over LT to anyone. We discussed it, and decided not to.
