not sure that it would completely matter, but you're still missing .NET 1.0.


I don't know what dependencies the Decal FileService has, but it could be your issue.


You should try installing:

Edit:

After which installing, you'll have to uninstall, clean, and re-install decal again.

Both downloaded said I had them already installed, but still they don't show up in the export from Decal. Tried opening Decal and running AC, bar still does not show up in AC.

in your C:\Program Files\Decal 3.0\ folder do you have a file named Decal.FileService.dll ?


If your computer said you already have the .NET 1.0 installation, then it is not properly installed as Decal doesn't see it.


I'd recommend checking your Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and remove the .NET 1.0 Framework. Make sure you ONLY remove 1.0 and not 1.1 or 2.0.


Then go ahead and re=install the .NET 1.0 Framework (With SP3).


For some reason Decal isn't picking up some of the necessary components.

Yes, Fileservice is in the folder looking at it now, just tried to re-d/l .net still doesnt pick up.

What do you mean by "still doesn't pick up"?


Were you able to uninstall the .NET 1.0?


What happened when you tried to install .NET 1.0 again? What happened when you tried the SP3? Did you get any error messages?

Go to Start/Run and type 'regedit'. In the box that pops up, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Decal\NetworkFilters\{5E9B2FC3-C251-4589-8CE3-2BCA542B98B6}

And reply here with exactly what's in there. It should start with (Default),REG_SZ,Decal FileService


It's a stab in the dark, but it might shed some light on what's going on. And whatever you do, don't change anything, or you could REALLY mess things up.

I noticed on my other machine decal wouldnt load at all until i installed dual client and it was on a fresh install of windows that had nothing. XP starting to get picky?
