[quote=VerriganIt happens when I'm moving.. Usually when a MOB is coming into radar range. I've thought a few times there may be something wrong with my messages.xml or something, which could be the case, but I think it may have something more to do with the world filter.. I don't know if LifeTankXI uses world filter or not, but I'd imagine it does.. In my experience, if multiple applications cause similar problems in similar situations, then they likely have something in common with one another.

LifeTank doesn't use WorldFilter (uses Darkside Filter, which is our own NetEcho catcher) but it does pretty much the same things, so if this is decal barfing on a packet/section of decal code, then that would make sense.

I never have this problem, and I never use Lifetank. I do some pretty intensive stuff with Decal, if it was a problem with the Decal core, I'm fairly sure I would have noticed it myself by now. Can't comment on VMT, I'll leave Verrigan to that one, but AgentZ definitely had a bug with using vendors- AFAIK, it was never resolved.

Anyone have this issue that DOESN'T use lifetank, VMT or AgentZ?

I notice this on two of my machines. I most often get this error when switching characters, no matter how long I wait. On my third machine, I use a combination of the same plugins as the other two machines, with the exception of Lifetank. I also have Castaway and Tinkerbot loaded on the 3rd machine. I have never experienced any crashes on this machine.

C++ Libraries are important and they are not installed. You should also take a snapshot of "what does this data report contain?" which tells a lot of detailed gibberish about what kind of decal error you had. Usually it ends up being a memory error, an address it cannot read which would mean installing all needed files listed from the export would be a must.

These are all needed as shown from my working export:

The C++ libraries are not required for any Decal plugin or the program itself to run correctly unless I'm mistaken. I'd say they are mostly needed for developers of C++ code and those who don't have any C++ libs installed or maybe just one or two is normal circumstance.

Killa: Unless you know 100% without a doubt, please do not post suggestions that may alter or change a software configuration that doesn't pertain to the problem at hand. C++ is definitely not an issue here whatsoever.

I've always heard it to be a problem with the communication between the AC Client and the Servers. When you log out and drop to the toon screen you usually need to wait a few seconds before picking another toon to log in with. From what I've understood (tho I'm not 100%) the client hasn't completely "logged out" your toon from the world yet and if you log back in while it's still working it will crash the client like that... Decal or not.

At times I've had to provide C++ libraries for my programs to function. If you look in your AC directory, you'll see that Turbine also includes the C++ libraries.

I'm having this problem as well. And only with decal running.

I get booted with the same message as the OP just while playing.

In addtion, whenever I switch characters I ALWAYS get a crash. Most times this is followed with a Direct3d error. My guess is that it may be a rendering issue with decal when logging out and then back on.

Also, sometimes when alt-tabbing, I will get the same problem as well.
