Basically, I am looking for a plugin that provides an ID window for IDing items on a mule. With the basic AC interface, you have to right click an item to see its properties. This covers up your inventory, so you then have to close the ID window, and then right click another item to see the properties. This is really time consuming, especially when looking through packs of salvage or even packs of armor. I'd like a pop-up window that I can sit next to my inventory and when I left click an item, it will automatically put the description (just like the AC's description) in this inventory window. This would save me so much time its uncanny! Does something like this exist?

Imp Inventory does this... sort of

You scan the mules and then can do searches looking for certains words and it pulls all of the info up and you can do copy and paste and stuff... You just have to scan the mules.

Yeah, i've tried Imp Inventory. It's pretty nice for cataloging your stuff beforehand, but for on the fly IDs and stuff, it doesn't really help.

This would make sorting mules so much easier.

I sure would use it a lot.

Just an update to this idea. Another good way to ID inventory would be to allow a hover-over ID system, so that when you hold your mouse over the item it automatically displays the item properties in the hover-over window (similar to a programming IDE). Anyway, just my .o2 cents, I would really like this plugin

I was actually looking into something like this, but right now, a plugin has no way of determining what item the mouse is over, so with the current version of Decal it's not possible.

That's ok, even if we had to left click, and the items decsription show up in a pop up window (kina like DCS), that would still be perfect for me.
