Hiyas,


Never had this problem before. Have tried the clean install directions, including the clean registry etc. Nothing will work for me. Also tried the removing of xml files from install folder.


As a last resort I did a windows restore and everything looked fine. Then when I loaded AC decal didnt appear and when I checked decal the red x's had reappeared. They were all ticked before I started ac.

Nope no errors all went smooth - I followed the instruction to the latter as well - uninstalled all plugins first etc etc.

Doing a google search the only thing I see that has the same message is someone who had a bad or old install of ACDC on their system. Any chance you use ACDC?

That's a problem... did you install all the pre-reqs BEFORE you installed decal?

ok let me explain

a week ago decal and all plugins listed working fine - have been working fine for months. After this patch still worked fine.


But then after the servers went down for awhile a few days ago Ive had this problem.


I tried a system restore - could this have done something ?


Any suggestions would be appreciated - I have all components required correctly installed - windows is fully updated. I have done the total uninstall instructions including registry clean etc.


Still I Im getting this error.

I am having trouble with my decal working too. i d-loaded it on a brand new computer and it has a red x in one of my pluggin boxes. anyone have any ideas?

Could you be a little more detailed about your problem?


Also, could you post your export? That will actually show us what plugin is having issues.

I'm having the same problem as Quinteros. I have no plugins added as yet as decal is not working for me.

All my boxes have red X's. I have all the required updates.

Decal FileService has "no Surrogate."

I've used Decal for years,(THANK YOU!! LOVE THE PROGRAM) this is not a new computer. I've tried every "trick" listed here and on decal forums. Regrestry cleaned. all of them. Sure would like some advise. THANK YOU. I compaired this export to a Decal that is working. The first thing was the Newwork Filters on mine have a -1, the working export didn't have any - before the 1,. I wanted to make mine match.. but could not find a way to change what is on the Decal window.
