Hit windows update and make sure you have all the .NET Frameworks installed.


If you think you do, or there are no updates, then you may have a corrupt .NET Framework installed in which case you should uninstall them all and re-install them all (1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, etc)


Be aware you need to get them all.. not just 3.0 or 3.5

I got mine fixed, but I had to use a .net removal tool (kept erroring out when I tried anything with .net 2.0).


I removed all .net software and reinstalled 2.0 and it solved that issue. Still hoping it works when the new memlocks get posted.

Why woudl you install Asheron's Call to your My Documents folder?


regardless, you need to run C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Turbine\Asheron's Call - Throne of Destiny\ACLauncher.exe


At that point, you also need to make sure that whatever shortcut you're using also points to the same place, or you need to change the path in Decal to point to wherever your current shortcut points to.


Either way, it would seem as though you have Asheron's Call installed twice and You're looking at/running one of them, and Decal is looking at the other.

Ok, my decal started randomly working this morning but still having same problem I was having before, my Version 1 Surrogate is still a red x and it appears to be stopping me from being able to use dual client. Any suggestions?
