I try saving them but they do not transfer.. am I doing something wrong?

I was looking for the same thing I think you need to copy your loot profile from the your main char folder and then paste it in all of the others. I'll try this when I get time and let you know.

It'll vary depending upon WHICH plug-in you are using, a somewhat vital piece of info.

There is no "central" loot profile, as each character has its own directory that all the config stuff is stored in.
However, you can copy them between your accounts: My Documents/LifeTankX/data/profiles/ToonName(SN)/macro/
If you make a change to one, you'll have to copy it again, but at least it gets you started.

That just makes a change to what plugins you run when you log in, not what loot profile to use.
