I clicked update and still have red x's. So I closed decal and re-opened it and it gave me the message that I needed to update. So I clicked 'ok' and it updated again. Still red x's (this is all after I downloaded the game patch). So I reinstalled decal with a fresh download from the decal site. Still red x's.


Any ideas?

Do you use Dual Client? Have you patched the game on all versions of your client?

Yes I do use Dual Client, and No I Havn't. I will give that a shot. Thank you!

Patched my other client and still red x's. I restarted decal and everything a few times just to make sure, but no luck.

This doesn't mean anything to me, but it always seems to help when someone else posts it. I havn't changed anything yesterday except downloading the IG patch and pressing update in decal.

I fionally figured out how to retrive my login for the Decal forums and asked there too. Any help would be appreciated. I have uninstalled Dual client, decall and all my plugins and still red x's when I reinstall decal.

You have a cached copy of the xml files.


You'll have to wait until the Cache expires to get the latest version. Usually it is cached on the ISP side so you have little impact on when it will get flushed from the cache. I recommend not attempting to download them for 12-24 hours and then attempting after that time, or look up Digero's site where the Memlocs can be downloaded through special non-cacheable links.
