tryied dl decal on new pc kept getting some sort of error. Think ie7 might be the culprit since nothing else ac related wants to work with it.

I am having the same problem it wont even let me load the game and i am trying to come back!!

Well at first I thought the issue was internet explorer 7 so I figured that was enough info.
The error is windows installer. I tried to install the version on the page but it tells me I got a newer version so it wont let me install.
This is the error.
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.
The following components were successfully installed:
- Microsoft DirectX 9.0c

And?
XP still has User Levels with certain application and file/folder permissions.
Just because you're running XP doesn't mean you automatically have full Admin access to the system.
