my Filter Path Detection cannot be enabled it has a not checkable box.

Sounds like possibly the filter was not installed fully or properly. Can it be checked in Decal?

checked in decal but still not checked nor able to check in dual, I used dual for past 2 weeks after patch not working.


reinstalled both items


works now after a reinstall for dual (decal plugins still won't install??)

i had a rogue acclient running which didn't allow dual to work (I looked in task mgr)

I had the same problem as the original poster, check your tak mgr to make sure extra clients are not running.

Go to your Services list and set Protected Storage to Automatic and make sure it is running.


I see it is marked as Manual in your Export which means it could potentially be not running.

just to give an update and for anyone running same OS as me (winxp64) I reinstalled dual client, had it run as XP (not sure if that was neccessary or not) and made sure it went to Program x86 and corrected the path to AC as program x86 during install/setup and it works just fine! just needed to retype the path as the defaults during set up just look for program file as opposed to program (x86). Hope that makes sense and thanks for your help!
