I never been to that site before. My friend just hosts me a free site from off of his gaming pc, so there is nothing professional about my site or any kind of money being made from it. It's a free site without ads that I made myself in HTML & PHP a few years ago while I was off from school for summer vaccation. My friend made me that icon to put up.

We do not condone mirroring our work unless you've been given direct permission from one of the Decal Devs. Last I checked, you were not given permission (nor would you probably be given permission based on your recent posts).


Please remove the mirrors for Decal components immediately


So what's your problem with someone helping the community out?

The problem is, we don't trust a lot of users, and we can't ensure that someone is not being malicious and packaging OUR memlocs with their own trojans or other things. That's why you need our permission to host them. So we can check the contents of the package, and track it to make sure that you're not putting bad things in with it.. because you know if someone got a virus while downloading mirrored memlocs, they'd still blame Decal or the Decal Devs for it.


It's not about helping out the community. It's about protecting the users and ourselves.

Any updates on the Decal Host site?

There were some serious issues with the machines which lead to a chain of problems. We're working to get a temporary replacement up and going, but I'm not sure right now what the status of that is. I just know that the current boxes are going to probably need some hardware replaced. If I find out anything more, I'll let you know.
