I'll try to lay this out as simply as possible.


Before I went to the site, Maddy had enabled you to download the file without registering. I easily downloaded the file, however I wanted to register so that I could post on the website in order to offer feedback, troubleshoot and share custom XML files (translated bot commands are a huge benefit for players that don't speak english, if you ever play AC again I could provide you a buff bot file with VERY simple instructions, for you to pass on to your favorite buff bot.)


I mentioned that I was not able to register using my Gmail account because of that, not because I was not able to download the file.


But due to the issues you experienced with "hypothetically" downloading the file, something important happened here. You failed the entrance test, horribly, and we all know now just what kind of an immature and incapable person you are.

I try to manage the forums in the little spare time I have. Due to this little spare time I tend to take an aggressive stance against spammers. If someone gets caught up in a IP ban and they notify me, I resolve it as quickly as possible (the new phpBB software makes dealing with spammers much easier where I can now be less aggressive).


As for the gamil ban, no idea how that happened. The only bans I've setup on emails are some domains from Russia and China that were being used by spammers.

could the armor count not being zero'ed out be related to me deleting some line in an xml file long ago?

It should have nothing to do with the XML as the counting is done all within the code.

ok then it is definitely hosed/by-passed if the player does not wait for the line from the bot telling which banesets are available.


the 'experienced' player sends the /t ...., buffarmor, and then when the window opens and s/he inserts the armor and then send a /rt blahblahbane. as they know what they want they don't wait the full 25 seconds (or what it is set to) for the bot to wait as the armor is inserted and when the timer is up tell the player a list of the available banes. they've been there done that and are in a 'rush'.

I found the problem in the xml. It was named just Xara so I added the full spelling. Fixed!
